  • Define key terms and concepts, such as the word amendment and the Bill of Rights.
  • Complete a graphic organizer of the Amendment process.
  • Compare the process of amending the Constitution to that of amending the Articles of Confederation.
  • Reflect on the amendment process and why it’s necessarily complex.

This activity is designed to introduce the Florida State Standard for Middle School Civics, SS.7.C.2.4: The Bill of Rights and Other Amendments
