These Legislative Branch Civics Review Games include four pages of review that covers vocabulary terms and key ideas related to Article One of the United States Constitution. These review puzzles include vocabulary definitions and key concepts related to Article One of the Constitution, like the qualifications for Senators and House Representatives, leadership roles in Congress, the Powers of Congress, checks and balances on the Legislative Branch, and more! This resource is suitable for middle school Civics, American History, or American Government students and is a great way to review material at the end of a unit or before the end of year exams. Students love doing the puzzles, and they get a good review of their Civics vocabulary while they’re at it!

✯ A Maze Escape. Students navigate the maze of multiple-choice review questions by drawing a straight line through each correct answer. Questions include vocabulary definitions and key concepts related to the Legislative Branch and Article One of the U.S. Constitution.

• Congress can override a Presidential veto with this vote in both chambers. (2/3rds)
• This clause gives Congress the ability to stretch their power to fulfill their Constitutional duties. (Elastic Clause)
• This chamber of Congress approves Presidential appointments, like Supreme Court nominations. (Senate)
