This two-sided worksheet provides seven different scenarios, and students must determine whether each candidate meets the requirements for naturalization. Perfect for middle school students studying Civics, American Government, or American History!

- Sample Scenario: Hey! My name is Ryan. I was born in Spain, but after college, I got a job working as a chemist in Orlando, Florida. I’ve lived in Florida for three years now, on a work visa. I’m ready to become a full-fledged citizen! Answer: No! Ryan has only lived in America for three years, and to become a Naturalized citizen, you must have lived in the country for five years.

- The residency requirement (5 years) for citizenship
- What “good moral character” means
- Whether a character is already a citizen based on Law of Soil
- The age requirement (18 years) for citizenship
